Moin zusammen.

Aus dem Blauen heraus funktioniert heute morgen meine Homebridge nicht mehr. Wieder mal das Thema "same UUID" was ich vor Monaten das letzte mal hatte und mit einem kompletten reinstall von Homebridge endete. ? Das Drama möchte ich natürlich vermeiden.

Wie kann ich denn erkennen anhand der Fehlermeldung im Journal, welcher Eintrag in der config.json am doppelten UUID Schuld ist? Ich tappe da immer im Dunkeln und hab bei dem Fehler so gar keinen Plan. ?

Lösche mal die Datei in ..../homebridge/accessories/ und versuche dann die Homebridge neu zu starten

Nach x-mal den Ordner accessories löschen und Raspberry mehrmals neu starten, hat es irgendwann wieder funktioniert. *puh ?

Manchmal ist Homebridge doch ein Mysterium, auch für eingefleischte Nutzer. ??

Heute hatte ich wieder das Problem mit der UUID und homebridge machte nicht.

Auch hier hat es wieder geholfen den Ordner accessories zu löschen.

Allerdings würde ich der Sache schon gerne auf den Grund gehen und wissen, was bzw. welches Plugin/Gerät das Problem auslöst.

Hat da jemand eine Idee für mich?

DJay Habe das hier nochmal für dich gefunden: •"If you get something like throw new Error("Cannot add a bridged Accessory with the same UUID as another bridged Accessory") you have to change the MAC Address inside config.json. Erasing the temporary files inside accessories/ e persist/ in the folder /home/homebridge/.homebridge may help too"

Bekomme den gleiche mistigen Fehler heute nachdem ich das https://www.npmjs.com/package/tplink-smarthome-api plugin installieren wollte.

auch das löschen der persist und Accessoires Ordner hilft nicht... brech ab

Hmm... ich hatte das gestern mal wieder komischerweise wegen dem harmony plugin.

Bei mir hat geholfen

sudo systemctl stop homebridge

accessories folder löschen

sudo npm cache clean -f

sudo npm install -g --unsafe-perm homebridge@latest

sudo reboot

Ich drück die Daumen.

Nein. Wenn ich nur den accessories folder lösche ist nach einem Neustart noch alles vorhanden an Räumen und die Geräte in den Räumen ebenso.

Hallo zusammen,

ich bekomme ab und an nach dem Neustart meinen Raspi die folgende Fehlermeldung im Log von einem der Plugins:

Error: Cannot add a bridged Accessory with the same UUID as another bridged Accessory: c7116629-a6a8-455c-b774-d9c7c8ad822f

Wenn ich dann die cachedAccessories weglösche, funktioniert alles wieder. Aber das ist für mich dauerhaft keine gute Lösung. Weiß jemand woher das kommt? An der Konfig habe ich schon eine Weile nichts mehr geändert.
